Frame Building Class
I have worked as a teacher, and I love to teach people about the things that I love. My passion for framebuilding extends to people interested in building their own frame. I couldn’t be more thankful to all the people that have helped me out over the years and I would love to share my knowledge with you. The frame building course will take you through the build process with minimal fixturing in a one-to-one/two setting. I offer two different classes. The first is a shorter class intended to demystify framebuilding. The second class is a longer, more in depth approach for those interested not only in taking home a handbuilt frame but also taking along the knowledge and skills to continue to build after the class is over. I offer classes based on individual schedules. Please inquire about scheduling.
Basic frame building class (5-6 days): In this class you will learn the basics of putting together your very own road or track frame. You will be mitering tubes, brazing lugs, filing pieces and aligning your frame. At the end of the class you will be able to walk away with a frame ready to ride. $1600/frame only
In depth frame class (10 days) In this class you will experience a detailed explanation of the process of putting together a frame as well as skill building lessons throughout the class to ensure you walk away with a top quality frame. You will be learning about brazing techniques, tube mitering, slotting tubes for dropouts, as well as finishing techniques and much more. The longer class ensures that you have ample practice throughout the course to build the frame of your dreams. In this class you can build a track, road or randonneur frame. $2500/frame and fork
